I am published writer with my master’s in creative writing. I am a regular contributor to AOL’s ParentDish and the Greater Wilmington Business Journal. My work has also appeared in The Writer, Scientific American Mind, the San Fransisco Book Review, a New York Times regional paper and Raleigh’s News & Observer. I am a generalist who has many clips: profiles, small business, residential/commercial real estate, parenting and lifestyle clips.

A marketing and public relations consultant, my experience includes promoting the 14th annual Cucalorus Film Festival and the Hands on Wilmington event for the 2008 Leadership Wilmington class.

I was the non-military public relations and marketing consultant for the November 2010 naval commissioning of the USS Gravely (DDG 107) and held the same role for the historic commissioning of the USS North Carolina (SSN 777) in May 2008.
