This article on the Oprah.com Web site has six suggestions of things you might want to try to keep your creativity flowing. While these are geared toward companies, they can be applicable to a person whose creativity is stalled.
My paraphrasing follows, however, I recommend reading the article, which is creatively presented, as well:
1. Don’t make lists; mind map instead.
2. When in doubt, hire a coach. (As a creativity coach, I wholeheartedly agree with this one!)
3. Journal to find answers about you.
4. Challenge yourself to tap into creativity.
5. Get a hold of 100 percent of your ideas.
6. Add a twist to mentoring.
These might be a good start for some. Personally, I would love to have an iPhone or smartphone to allow me to mind map or note all my ideas from anywhere. But then, I would probably start worrying that I wouldn’t have time to review all my ideas!
