Finding Creative Souls and Super Bloggers During the WordCount Blogathon
More than 100 bloggers signed up for the WordCount Blogathon. I’m one of them. This year, for the month of May, I plan to embrace blogging everyday. I know, sometimes, reader, you may wonder why I blog at all…we all have those days. (Last year, feeling overwhelmed, I lurked on others’ [...]
More than 100 bloggers signed up for the WordCount Blogathon. I’m one of them. This year, for the month of May, I plan to embrace blogging everyday. I know, sometimes, reader, you may wonder why I blog at all…we all have those days. (Last year, feeling overwhelmed, I lurked on others’ blogs and ignored the simple directions to try to blog everyday.)
This year, I have a plan to intersperse my posts about creativity in between introducing you to some of the bloggers of the Blogathon, learning about them and uncovering new gems in the blogosphere. Basically, delving in the amazing creativity that is the blog.
Christa in New York: Curating a Creative Life. Christa works in innovation and product development while she makes “a life writing about creativity and hope.” Her post on facing fears may resonate with others trying to focus on bringing creativity into their lives.
Ben Bradley’s description of himself–”Sorry, I am a complicated person and I cannot tell you about myself in only 1200 characters”–is even more humorous when you realize that Ben also writes Flash Fiction. His blog is Ben’s (Not Quite) First Ever Presence on the Interweb: Blog of an Aspiring Human Being. Ben shares his fiction, as well as his musing about life. For some reason, I was drawn to his story about selling a book written by Martin Luther King Jr.
Violet is My Color: Life Just Happens, Deal with It struck me with the post “Sunday, lazy Sunday…” introduces how we often view others from our perfectionist colored lenses. Perfection–which we also train on ourselves–often gets in the way of our creativity (among other things).
