What does it mean to be a creative person?
Having once held jobs in layout design, writing, childcare, law, advertising, and as a swim coach/instructor, when dropping my daughter off at childcare, I was told I perceived as a creative person. For all the jobs I have had, it was the owner of the center who told me she thought I was one of the creative people she had ever met.
What makes a person creative? What defines a person as creative? Do you have any ideas?
Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi has some interesting insight into what are the 10 traits that are “often present” in creative people. While physical energy and a playful attitude are just two that he mentions, what are some of the characteristics you think might define a person as creative?
