It’s been a crazy past few days, between travel to and from Florida and kids re-adjusting to life back at school. And catching up on the sleep from 11-hour drives, each way. I needed a bit of time to re-charge my energy and creativity, so I’ve been seeking inspiration in a number of books. But one great resource is Jill Badonsky’s “The Awe-Manac: A Daily Dose of Wonder.” I keep dipping into it because it is colorful and inviting and I don’t have to think. (That is key on many days.) It’s arranged by days.
So, for today’s brief dose of Journal JuJu, Jill asks:
“What are the things you fear to lose? Pick one or two of them and write about letting go of just 5 percent (or more) of their power over you. What would that feel like?”
If you want, share what it is you fear to lose.

I fear losing my belief in myself. That would feel awful and might make me stop writing.
I fear losing my husband to illness. I don’t even want to know how that would feel.
Dropped by from Twitter, by the way.
