Exercising words

An excerpt from Jill Badonsky’s The Awe-Manac: A Daily Dose of Wonder gets me ready for the today. The slightly massaged “Journal Juju” for the day is:

* Find 21 words somewhere in your daily life…on your cereal box, on the bumper stickers on the back of the cars during your commute…anywhere!
* Take those words to create a real journal entry; write a poem, or a story; and
* “Use your imagination to embellish your existence if it is mundane,” Jill writes.

Perhaps you can share your creative piece below (without the spam filters catching it!) and then get on with enjoying your weekend.
