Creative cash with SendMeHome.com

SendMeHome.com has a new Facebook application that will encourage and possibly foster creativity. And, at the end of the day, SendMeHome.com hopes that millions of Facebook will collaborate on stories about an object.
To assist in, well, peaking the interest of social media “peeps”, SendMeHome.com announced $1,000 in cash prizes for this “Cash for Creativity” competition. Open to anyone with an object, an Internet connection, and some creativity. The $1,000 in prize money will be divided into four separate awards. Three cash prizes will be given to the users who create stories that acquire the largest number of followers by May 4, 2009. A fourth prize will be given to the user who creates a story that exhibits the most creativity as determined by SendMeHome.com’s two founders.
Get in there and get creative! Let me know, so I can follow you.
(And check out what SendMeHome.com does…it might not help me recover my 7-year old’s sweater on a daily basis, but it sure would give the cardigan an interesting life!)
The company has posted a sample story.
