I am the public relations director for November's Cucalorus Film Festival. In the spring, I volunteered as a media and public relations professional during the historic commissioning of the USS North Carolina (SSN 777) and, as a member of the 2008 Leadership Wilmington class, during the city-wide civic program Hands on Wilmington.
